Add visible shot feedback to your compatible Smart DryFireMag® setup. The Smart SureStrike™ Red 9mm Optic Laser Cartridge produces a brief red laser pulse with each trigger press, so you can see your shot placement on a physical target. Use it as a replacement cartridge or to add red laser training to a compatible Smart Mag Only setup.
This is a 9mm cartridge. Other supported calibers require the correct adapter. Not compatible with .22-caliber or .380 pistols.
This is a cartridge purchase, not a complete laser training system. Laser operation requires a compatible Smart DryFireMag® and the required Barrel Safety Pipe System. It does not work with a Standard DryFireMag® or as a standalone firing-pin-activated laser cartridge.
The visible red pulse lets you check shot placement on the included reflective targets or other physical dry-fire targets. No electronic target is required to see the pulse. Add a compatible electronic target or simulator when you want reactive feedback and training drills.
The Smart optic cartridge works with the Smart DryFireMag® rather than relying on a firing-pin strike. Select the Smart magazine for your exact pistol model, then confirm laser-use compatibility and the required safety pipe components before ordering.
This is a 9mm laser cartridge. Use in supported calibers other than 9mm requires the correct caliber adapter ring or kit and a Smart DryFireMag® compatible with your exact pistol. Not compatible with .22-caliber or .380 pistols. An adapter does not make an incompatible pistol compatible. Follow the caliber and component requirements on your specific Smart DryFireMag® product page.
Select the safety pipe and any extension for your barrel length. These components are sold separately from this cartridge.

The Smart cartridge features a stainless steel body, a glass laser lens, and the optic cap designed for use with Smart DryFireMag®.
Leave the battery pack’s shrink wrap in place during installation. The laser cartridge uses a separate battery pack from the rechargeable battery in the Smart DryFireMag®.
Not included: Smart DryFireMag®, Barrel Safety Pipe System, caliber adapters, electronic targets, or simulator.

Red: See a visible laser pulse on a physical target; also works with compatible electronic targets and simulators.
Infrared: No visible pulse to follow; requires an IR-compatible electronic target or simulator for shot feedback. Check the target or simulator’s laser compatibility before purchasing.

Use the adapter specified for your compatible pistol and caliber. Rings and kits have different contents; check the individual listing before buying. Available adapter rings include 10mm, .357 SIG, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, and .45 GAP. Adapter kits are also available for supported 10mm, .357 SIG, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP setups.
Choose the required safety pipe components for your barrel length. Compact and Short kits, the Long Safety Pipe, and the Safety Pipe Extension are available separately. Follow the safety pipe instructions and your model’s setup requirements.
The 9mm Digital Boresight Back Cap is an optional accessory listed for the visible red SureStrike™ cartridge. It converts the cartridge to a separate boresighting configuration. It is not the Smart optic cap used for Smart DryFireMag® laser training. If you need a replacement Smart optic cap, contact Product Support to confirm the correct component.

Use the Smart DryFireMag® instructions for your model and the supplied cartridge user guide for setup.
Unload your firearm and remove all live ammunition from the training area. Follow your firearm, Smart DryFireMag®, and cartridge instructions. Install the required Barrel Safety Pipe System as directed before laser training, and remove all training components before returning the firearm to live use.
