Works right out of the box and definitely adds a new dimension to dry fire training!
I think this would work very well for the stock trigger simulator. You can adjust trigger pull with springs based on the stock trigger. If you have modified your trigger it takes more than the one turn only as recommended. In all transparency I have my stock Glocks running 3-3.5 pounds. Very little take up and very little reset. You can adjust the take up but I had to turn the adjustment three turns. Unfortunately there is no reset adjustment. The reset on my DF mag is more than my normal reset but it works. I’m happy that I’m not continuing to abuse the striker. So I’m happy with the purchase and will continue to use as a DF aid.
Works great. Only issue with mine is that it fits very tight in the magwell and is hard to remove, but other then that it works great
I use my DryFireMags every day. I have them now for S&W, Glock, Sig, and Walther. The smart mags with the visible laser is, in my opinion, the best at home training tool someone can use. You can track your shots repeatedly without having to run the slide, and you can practice your trigger control by watching if the laser flashes a dot (good control) or a streak (bad control). Best dollar for dollar training aid on the market.
Works great! Definitely worth it, takes dry fire practice to a new level!
A+!!! Bought the Walther PDP Dry Fire Magazine to see if it would work in a Walther PPQ Q5 Match Steel Frame Pistol. The magazine fit great but wasn't actuating when pulling the trigger. Contacted DryFire.Mag on Instagram and was sent the videos on how to set the Magazine for proper tension. Once I reset the Magazine, it worked Great in my PPQ Q5 Match Steel Frame Pistol. Contacted DryFire.Mag on Instagram and told them it worked in both of my PPQ Q5 Match SF Pistols with Overwatch Precision Triggers installed.
This is great for training with your real pistol if they make a kit for your pistol. Just have to remember to keep your grip tight as that’s part of the biggest mistake people run into.
One other thing though is that the laser dot does appear to move just a little bit. Not very much, but if you’re looking at your sites and pull the trigger repeatedly, you’ll notice it moves around at 5 yards about as much as from one side of the site to the other.
I purchased the Walther PDP Red Laser System with the understanding it may not be compatible with my F Series. Initially it was not compatible. I worked with the tech support folks at DryFireMag and made a modification to the lever arm on the DryFireMag and it now works flawlessly and I love it!! I have it working with my Mantis X and Mantis Laser Academy kits to enhance my dry fire training. Kuddos to DryFireMag for coming out with a PDP version!!!!
Perfect fit! Great way to practice.
Excellent! Was so excited to finally get this for the walther. Love the Glock dryfiremag and now i can really level up my Walther practice.
Works perfectly
It works as far as resetting the trigger, but it does not slide out easily when the mag release button is pressed. Maybe if the texture were smoother? I would buy 2 and use them to practice mag exchanges, if they didn't have to be physically pulled out of the magwell.
I have one of the original G-17 mags and it’s fine. The new one for the PDP is just money. Feels way more like the actual trigger than the old G-17 mag and is very easy to install and remove.
Husband loves it!! Works great with his gun. Can you make one for my Ruger Max9 now?
I want to start by saying that your company is great! And I knew before I purchased the dryfiremag that it might not work on my PDP-F, but I was hoping it would. It didn’t. 😢 You tech support was amazing trying to help me adjust it so that we could get it working but no luck. He said y’all would continue to problem solve. I love the mags I have for my other pistols and can’t wait to get the one for the PDP working.
Wish it would fit my gun. Says Glock mags but not really. Doesn't fit the Glock 17
This thing is super neat, really great concept
Nice fire dry fire training inside my house.
Works great for dry fire. However, does not work in conjunction with Mantis X10. Have contacted support services at DryFire Mag and they are working on this.
Being able to adjust the trigger pull on this is much better than I thought , I do have Glock Performance Triggers in all 3 of my Glocks , I think insane it dialed where it’s about how it feels . But having the laser is the way to go ! Laser will tell on you about ur trigger pull. Dry fire where u have to rack the slide is good way to develop training scars ! I do not have wifi internet so the other that requires that I can’t use , this is a good way to work on your trigger pull .
Great mag, high quality
