Convert your compatible 9mm SureStrike™ laser module into a boresighting tool. This firing-pin-activated back cap provides continuous laser output for initial sight alignment and instructor demonstrations. Laser module sold separately.
Use your compatible 9mm SureStrike™ laser module for sight alignment with the Digital Boresight Back Cap. A firing-pin strike switches the laser on and keeps it illuminated; the next strike switches it off. The continuous beam also gives instructors a reference for demonstrating sight alignment.
BACK CAP ONLY: Includes the Digital Boresight Back Cap, battery, and user guide. A compatible RED (visible) SureStrike™ laser module is required for visual boresighting and is sold separately. An infrared (IR) laser will not produce a visible dot. This cap does not change the laser’s color or wavelength.
SMART DRYFIREMAG OWNERS: This is a firing-pin-activated boresight cap, not the Smart Optic Back Cap. It does not provide Smart DryFireMag® laser activation or repeated laser shots through the Smart magazine. Reinstall your compatible Smart Optic Back Cap before returning to Smart DryFireMag laser training.
Replace the compatible cartridge’s back cap to use its laser as a boresighting reference. The built-in snap-cap contact protects the firing pin during activation. Depending on your firearm’s action, you may need to reset the firing mechanism between activations.
Use a compatible visible-red laser module when you need to see the dot directly. An infrared module remains invisible to the unaided eye when this cap is installed.
Boresighting provides an initial alignment reference. Confirm final sight or optic zero with live fire at an appropriate range after removing all training components.
Keep your original back cap for its intended training function. Installing this cap does not make a Standard DryFireMag® activate a laser cartridge.
SAFETY FIRST: Unload the firearm and physically and visually inspect the chamber, bore, and magazine well. Remove live ammunition from the work area before installation or use.
