Description

.357 SIG Adapter Ring & Safety-Pipe Kit

Adapt your compatible 9mm Smart SureStrike™ Red or Infrared Laser Cartridge for .357 SIG laser training. This kit combines a .357 SIG caliber adapter ring with a short barrel safety pipe, black extension, and safety nut. The laser cartridge and Smart DryFireMag® are sold separately.

BOUGHT YOUR SMART SYSTEM BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2026? Barrel safety-pipe kits were not included with Smart DryFireMag Laser Training Systems purchased before January 1, 2026. If you own an earlier system and do not already have the required safety-pipe components, this adapter kit can supply those components along with the .357 SIG adapter ring.

Do You Need the Kit or Just the Ring?

Choose this adapter kit if you need both the .357 SIG ring and barrel safety-pipe components, or want a spare set.
Choose the ring only if you already have the correct safety pipe, extension, and nut for your compatible .357 SIG pistol.
Adding a different pistol? You must also have the Smart DryFireMag model compatible with that pistol. An adapter kit alone does not expand the firearm compatibility of your Smart DryFireMag.

Compatibility & Required Components

For compatible .357 SIG configurations, including GLOCK® G31, G32, and G33 pistols and compatible SIG SAUER® P320 models, use this kit with the appropriate model-specific Smart DryFireMag and a compatible Smart SureStrike™ 9mm Red or Infrared Laser Cartridge. Review the model-specific compatibility information before ordering.

The adapter changes the laser cartridge’s caliber fit; it does not change which pistols your Smart DryFireMag fits. Confirm compatibility for your firearm and complete system before ordering. Standard DryFireMags do not activate Smart SureStrike laser cartridges.

Safety-pipe fit: Select the pipe length and any required extensions for your specific barrel. The kit’s standard short safety-pipe components do not fit every barrel configuration. Review your model-specific Smart DryFireMag instructions before installation.

Short safety pipe length: 2-7/8 inches (2.875 inches). The included black extension adds pipe length when required; it does not replace the need for a longer configuration on certain barrels.

Smart SureStrike™ Adapter Kit Installation

BEFORE INSTALLATION: Verify that the firearm is unloaded. Physically and visually inspect the chamber, bore, and magazine well, and remove all live ammunition from the training area. Assemble the laser cartridge and adapter outside the firearm.

USE THE CORRECT BACK CAP: Retain the compatible Smart SureStrike™ 9mm Optic Back Cap for Smart DryFireMag laser activation. A standard firing-pin-activated back cap will not provide Smart DryFireMag laser activation.

Unscrew the 9mm Optic Back Cap from the Smart SureStrike laser module. Remove the battery pack if installed.
Position the .357 SIG adapter ring over the laser module with its threaded end facing the back-cap end. Installing the adapter upside down can damage the threads.
Carefully engage the adapter’s threads and turn it down until seated. Do not force or overtighten the adapter.
Insert the battery pack with its positive (+) end facing the back cap. Leave the protective shrink wrap intact.
Thread the compatible 9mm Optic Back Cap back onto the laser module to secure the adapter ring.
Confirm that the assembly is fully closed with no gap. If the components do not thread together properly, stop and check their orientation.
Install the assembled cartridge and the required barrel safety pipe and nut according to your Smart DryFireMag system instructions. Use the safety-pipe length and extensions appropriate for your barrel.

Disassembly: Remove the cartridge from the firearm according to your Smart DryFireMag system instructions, then reverse the adapter assembly steps above. Remove the laser-cartridge battery pack before storage.
