Practice repeated trigger presses without racking the slide using your compatible Smith & Wesson® M&P® 9mm or .40 S&W pistol. The Standard DryFireMag provides audible and tactile trigger-reset simulation using your own sights, optic and trigger.
LASER COMPATIBILITY: Standard DryFireMags are not compatible with any laser cartridge.

The Standard DryFireMag® for Smith & Wesson® M&P® pistols lets you practice repeated trigger presses without manually cycling the slide between presses.
By eliminating the interruption of racking the slide, this DryFireMag helps you maintain your grip and sight picture while practicing trigger control, presentation from the holster and other dry-fire drills with your own compatible pistol.
When installed and adjusted according to the product instructions, the DryFireMag interacts with the pistol’s trigger mechanism to simulate repeated trigger presses without cycling the firearm’s action.
Important: The DryFireMag simulates trigger reset. It does not cycle the slide, operate the firearm’s action or provide shot-placement feedback.
The DryFireMag ships with a pull weight that closely approximates the firearm’s actual trigger pull weight. Trigger configurations, installed components and individual firearms can vary, so the simulated trigger pull might not feel identical to the live-fire trigger pull of every pistol.
One heavier accessory spring is included. The installed spring provides an approximate 5½-pound simulated pull, while the included heavier spring can increase the simulated pull to approximately 5¾–6 pounds. Actual pull weight can vary based on the individual firearm, scale and pull-test method. The optional Smith & Wesson M&P Spring Kit is sold separately for additional trigger-pull adjustment options.

This is a Standard DryFireMag. It provides repeated trigger-reset simulation but cannot activate a laser cartridge.
It is not compatible with firing pin-activated laser cartridges, Smart SureStrike™ laser cartridges or other laser-cartridge systems. Choose a complete Smart DryFireMag Laser Training System if you want trigger-reset practice combined with laser shot feedback.
The orange baseplate helps distinguish the DryFireMag from live-fire magazines during dry-fire practice.
