A complete rechargeable dry-fire training system that provides repeated trigger resets and visible red laser feedback without requiring an electronic target.
Smart laser compatibility: This system works only with the included Smart SureStrike™ Red 9mm Laser Cartridge. It is not compatible with firing pin-activated or other third-party laser cartridges.
No magazine spacer required: The Smart DryFireMag works directly in compatible RXM Subcompact, Compact and Full-Size configurations.

The Smart DryFireMag® for Ruger® RXM® Red Laser Training System combines repeated trigger-reset simulation with immediate visible laser feedback. Practice trigger control, presentation from the holster and other dry-fire drills with your compatible 9mm Ruger RXM—without manually cycling the slide between trigger presses.
The included Smart SureStrike™ Red 9mm Laser Cartridge provides immediate visual feedback on paper, physical and reflective targets. It can also be used with compatible electronic targets and simulators for reactive feedback, timed drills, scoring and projected training scenarios.

The visible red laser works immediately with simple targets. Add compatible electronic targets or a simulator when you want reactive feedback, programmable drills or projected scenarios.
When properly installed and adjusted, the rechargeable Smart DryFireMag detects the simulated trigger press and wirelessly activates the included Smart SureStrike™ Red Laser Cartridge. This provides visible laser shot feedback without requiring the firearm’s firing pin to strike the cartridge.
Important: The Smart DryFireMag simulates trigger reset. It does not cycle the slide, operate the firearm’s action or fire a projectile.
This is a complete Smart DryFireMag Laser Training System—not a Mag Only product. It includes the rechargeable Smart DryFireMag, proprietary Red 9mm Laser Cartridge, Short Safety Pipe Kit components and the other accessories needed to begin compatible red-laser training.
The Smart DryFireMag contains an internal rechargeable lithium battery and includes a USB-C charging cable. Allow approximately 2.25 hours for a full charge, which can provide up to approximately 50,000 trigger presses or laser pulses. Actual battery life can vary with use and storage conditions.
The Smart SureStrike™ Laser Cartridge uses replaceable, non-rechargeable battery packs. Two laser-cartridge battery packs are included. Keep the protective shrink wrap on each battery pack during use, and remove the battery pack from the laser cartridge after every training session to reduce battery drain and extend its storage life.
The DryFireMag ships with a pull weight that closely approximates the firearm’s actual trigger pull weight. Trigger configurations, installed components and individual firearms can vary, so the simulated trigger pull might not feel identical to the live-fire trigger pull of every pistol.
One lighter accessory spring is included for an optional trigger-pull reduction of approximately ½ pound.
If your pistol uses a custom trigger that resets forward to the cocked position, we recommend removing the Smart DryFireMag’s internal spring. Follow the included adjustment instructions before training. Compatibility with specific aftermarket RXM triggers has not been confirmed.
The Smart DryFireMag has a black magazine body with a red baseplate and red lever to help distinguish it from live-fire magazines during dry-fire practice.
