Practice repeated trigger presses without racking the slide while an electronic target or simulator detects the invisible IR signal from your compatible 9mm PSA Dagger.
IR TARGET REQUIRED: This invisible IR system requires a compatible electronic target or simulator. It will not provide visible feedback on paper, reflective or ordinary physical targets.
No magazine spacer required: The Smart DryFireMag fits compatible PSA Dagger Compact and Dagger Full Size frames directly. Compact and Full Size frame dimensions differ, but no fit adjustment or spacer is needed.

Using another GLOCK-pattern platform? GLOCK, Shadow Systems and Ruger RXM pistols use different trigger-bar arrangements and platform-specific tolerances. Choose the Smart IR system designed for your pistol rather than using the PSA Dagger magazine interchangeably.
Prefer visible laser feedback? Choose the complete Smart Red system for use with paper, physical or reflective targets, with electronic targets and simulators remaining optional.
The Smart DryFireMag® for PSA Dagger Compact IR (Invisible) Laser Training System combines repeated trigger-reset simulation with an invisible infrared laser signal. Practice with your compatible 9mm PSA Dagger without manually cycling the slide between trigger presses.
Because the IR signal cannot be seen in flight or on an ordinary target, you must use your pistol’s sights or optic to aim. Feedback comes from the electronic target or simulator after the shot is registered. This prevents tracing a visible laser onto the target or using the laser to confirm an unaimed shot from the hip.
The result is a more demanding training experience built around a proper sight picture, consistent presentation, trigger control and follow-through.
When properly installed and adjusted, the rechargeable Smart DryFireMag detects the simulated trigger press and activates the included Smart SureStrike™ IR 9mm Laser Cartridge. A compatible target or simulator detects the invisible signal and provides the visual, audible, timed or scored feedback supported by that training system.
The Smart DryFireMag ships with a pull weight that closely approximates the firearm’s actual trigger pull weight. Trigger configurations, installed components and individual firearms can vary, so the simulated trigger pull might not feel identical to the live-fire trigger pull of every pistol.
One lighter accessory spring is included for an optional trigger-pull reduction of approximately ½ pound.
A compact standalone electronic target with six interactive programs plus visual, audible and numeric feedback. Its built-in shot timer records split and total drill times without a computer, phone, webcam or Wi-Fi connection.
Choose a three-target or five-target package with a wireless controller. Build multi-target drills with light and sound feedback, timing data, configurable target groups and multiple training modes.
Move into projected drills with automatic laser tracking, core exercises, supported two-shooter competition and optional expansion content. Home and larger simulator packages are available.
This is a complete Smart DryFireMag Laser Training System—not a Mag Only product. It includes the rechargeable Smart DryFireMag, proprietary IR 9mm Laser Cartridge, safety-pipe components and supporting accessories needed for compatible IR laser training. The required electronic target or simulator is sold separately.
The Smart DryFireMag contains an internal rechargeable lithium battery and includes a USB-C charging cable. Allow approximately 2.25 hours for a full charge, which can provide up to approximately 50,000 trigger presses or laser-cartridge pulses. Actual battery life can vary with use and storage conditions.
The Smart SureStrike Laser Cartridge uses replaceable, non-rechargeable battery packs. Two laser-cartridge battery packs are included. Keep the protective shrink wrap on the battery pack during use. Remove the battery pack from the laser cartridge after every training session to reduce battery drain and extend its storage life.
Choose IR when you want target-confirmed feedback while remaining visually accountable to your sights or optic. Choose the PSA Dagger Red Laser Training System when you want a visible laser that also works with paper, physical and reflective targets without electronic equipment.
The green activation lever and green baseplate help distinguish the Smart DryFireMag from live-fire magazines during dry-fire practice. Always verify that your firearm is unloaded and follow the included product instructions before beginning any dry-fire training session.
