The Smart DryFireMag® for GLOCK® 10mm/45 Auto IR Laser Training System combines repeated trigger-reset simulation with invisible infrared laser feedback. Practice trigger control, presentation from the holster and other dry-fire drills with your compatible GLOCK 10mm or .45 Auto pistol—without manually cycling the slide between trigger presses.
The Smart SureStrike™ Infrared 9mm Laser Cartridge emits an invisible IR signal that must be detected by a compatible electronic target or simulator. It does not provide visible feedback on paper, physical or other non-electronic targets.
Because the laser is invisible, IR training encourages you to use your firearm’s sights or optic instead of watching a visible laser dot or shooting from the hip.
When properly installed and adjusted, the rechargeable Smart DryFireMag detects the simulated trigger press and wirelessly activates the Smart SureStrike Laser Cartridge. This provides infrared laser shot feedback without requiring the firearm’s firing pin to strike the cartridge.
Because the infrared signal is not visible to the shooter, it cannot be used as a visible aiming reference. This encourages you to establish your sight picture through the firearm’s sights or optic while a compatible electronic target or simulator detects the infrared signal.
Compatible training options include the LaserPET II™, I-MTTS electronic targets and compatible Smokeless Range® simulator configurations.
This is a complete Smart DryFireMag Laser Training System—not a Mag Only product. It includes the rechargeable Smart DryFireMag, proprietary Infrared 9mm Laser Cartridge, safety-pipe components and other accessories needed for compatible IR training.
A compatible electronic target or simulator is required and sold separately. The included Smart SureStrike Infrared 9mm Laser Cartridge is designed specifically for use with the Smart DryFireMag. This system is not compatible with firing pin-activated or other laser cartridges.
The included Smart SureStrike Infrared Laser Cartridge is a 9mm cartridge. Use the appropriate included adapter ring for your pistol:
Follow the included product instructions when selecting and installing the appropriate adapter ring and barrel safety-pipe components.
The included short safety pipe and one black safety-pipe extension accommodate many compatible configurations. Pistols with barrels measuring 5 inches or longer—including the G40, G41 and any compatible long-slide G20 or G21 configuration—require additional safety-pipe length.
For barrels 5 inches or longer, we recommend using the Long Safety Pipe with the black safety-pipe extension already included with this system. Alternatively, use the included short safety pipe and black extension with one additional black safety-pipe extension.
The Smart DryFireMag contains an internal rechargeable lithium battery and includes a USB-C charging cable. Allow approximately 2.25 hours for a full charge, which can provide up to approximately 50,000 trigger presses or laser pulses. Actual battery life can vary with use and storage conditions.
The Smart SureStrike™ Laser Cartridge uses replaceable, non-rechargeable battery packs designed to provide thousands of laser pulses. Two laser-cartridge battery packs are included. Keep the protective shrink wrap on each battery pack during use, and remove the battery pack from the laser cartridge after every training session to reduce battery drain and extend its storage life.
The Smart DryFireMag ships with a pull weight that closely approximates the firearm’s actual trigger pull weight. Trigger configurations, installed components and individual firearms can vary, so the simulated trigger pull might not feel identical to the live-fire trigger pull of every pistol.
One lighter accessory spring is included. For additional adjustment, the optional GLOCK Spring Kit provides multiple spring options ranging from approximately 3 pounds to greater than 10 pounds.

The orange baseplate helps distinguish the Smart DryFireMag from live-fire magazines during dry-fire practice.

Choose IR for sight- and optic-focused training: The invisible infrared laser requires a compatible electronic target or simulator. Because you cannot see the laser, you must use your sights or optic instead of watching the laser dot.
Choose Red for visible feedback: The visible red laser works with paper, physical and reflective targets without requiring an electronic target. It can also be used with compatible electronic targets and simulators.
