SAFETY FIRST: Before installation or dry-fire practice, unload your firearm, physically and visually check the chamber, bore and magazine well, and remove live ammunition from the training area. Follow your firearm’s instructions and the Flash Bolt user guide. Keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction.
IR TARGET OR SIMULATOR REQUIRED: This infrared laser is invisible to the naked eye. A compatible IR electronic target or simulator is required for shot feedback and is sold separately. Paper targets alone do not provide visible shot feedback.
The IR AR Flash Bolt lets you practice repeated laser shots with your compatible AR rifle or PCC without racking the charging handle. Focus on your sights or optic while a compatible electronic target or simulator supplies the feedback.
The Flash Bolt replaces your rifle’s bolt carrier group. An included wired trigger switch fits behind your existing trigger and activates the laser with each press, allowing repeated laser shots without cycling the charging handle. Your firearm’s trigger stays installed; the Flash Bolt switch provides the training activation.
Use the supplied spacer plates to fit the trigger switch and its springs to adjust the switch’s resistance. Windage and elevation adjustments align the laser with your sights or optic. Follow the user guide for installation, adjustments and caliber conversion. No permanent firearm modifications are required.
Practice acquiring your sights, pressing the trigger without disturbing your aim, and transitioning between targets. Use your own rifle setup at home, then add an electronic target or simulator when you want hit counts, timing or projected drills.
A short infrared pulse for Smokeless Range and compatible Laser Ammo electronic targets. Use it for simulator and timed target drills.
A longer infrared pulse that also activates compatible Laser Ammo electronic targets and Smokeless Range. Choose the pulse setting that suits your training setup.
The IR model does not offer the Red model’s four-mode set or visible boresight mode.

Trigger configuration matters: Some specialty trigger configurations can limit compatibility. Do not assume every AR-pattern rifle or aftermarket trigger will work. Contact Laser Ammo with your rifle and trigger details before ordering if you are unsure.
Sold separately: Electronic targets, simulators and Flash Bolt .308 Adapter (required for .300 Blackout, .308/7.62×51 and 7.62×39). A paper target does not electronically detect or score laser hits.
