Secure your compatible 9mm Smart SureStrike™ laser cartridge with a compact safety pipe, black extension, and safety nut. Use as a replacement, spare, or add-on for a compatible pre-2026 Smart system. Already included with current Smart DryFireMag® Laser Training Systems that require the Compact kit.
Secure your compatible 9mm Smart SureStrike™ Red or Infrared Laser Cartridge with a compact barrel safety pipe, black extension, and safety nut. Choose this kit to replace missing components, keep a spare set, or add a safety-pipe system to a compatible Smart DryFireMag® Laser Training System purchased before 2026.
ALREADY INCLUDED WITH SELECT CURRENT SMART SYSTEMS: Smart DryFireMag Laser Training Systems requiring the Compact pipe already include this kit. Most other current Smart systems include the Short Safety Pipe Kit instead. Check what came with your system before ordering a replacement or spare.
BOUGHT YOUR SMART SYSTEM BEFORE JANUARY 1, 2026? Barrel safety-pipe kits were not included before that date. This kit can add the safety-pipe system to an earlier setup when the Compact pipe is appropriate for your barrel.
Compact safety pipe length: 2-3/8 inches (2.375 inches).
The Compact pipe is intended for compatible barrel lengths between 3-3/16 inches and 3-9/16 inches. Use the included black extension when required by your barrel configuration, and follow the model-specific instructions.
Examples listed for this pipe size include compatible GLOCK® G43X, SIG SAUER® P365 Subcompact, and Smith & Wesson® M&P Compact configurations. Barrel lengths vary within pistol families; confirm your exact barrel and Smart DryFireMag configuration before ordering.
COMPACT KIT OR SHORT KIT? “Compact” describes this pipe length, not universal compatibility with every compact pistol. A longer-barrel configuration in the same pistol family may require a different pipe or extension arrangement.
The Short Safety Pipe measures 2-7/8 inches; this Compact pipe measures 2-3/8 inches. If you are unsure which kit your system requires, contact us before ordering.
Use with a compatible Smart SureStrike™ 9mm Red or Infrared Laser Cartridge and the Smart DryFireMag model designed for your pistol. The kit secures the laser cartridge; it does not change the firearm compatibility of your magazine or laser.
Other calibers: Compatible .40 S&W, .357 SIG, 10mm, .45 ACP, and .45 G.A.P. laser configurations also require the correct caliber adapter ring. This safety-pipe kit does not include a caliber adapter. If you need both, choose the appropriate caliber adapter kit and review its compatibility requirements.
Not included: Smart DryFireMag, laser cartridge, caliber adapter ring, or Long Safety Pipe. Standard DryFireMags do not activate Smart SureStrike laser cartridges.
SAFETY FIRST: Verify that the firearm is unloaded. Physically and visually inspect the chamber, bore, and magazine well, and remove live ammunition from the training area. Follow the Safety Pipe Instructions before installing or removing components.
